SAFERENTAL: SAFEGUARDING RENTAL HOUSING SEMINAR #2

SafeRental: Safeguarding Rental Housing is an eight-hour course for owners and managers of Marion County rental properties at no cost. It discusses ways to keep properties safe and free of illegal activity. This nationally recognized program teaches rental owners and managers, neighborhood associations and community groups how to:

• Screen applicants
• Recognize the signs of illegal activity, and drug and gang activity
• Maintain properties cost effectively
• Deter crime with landscaping and lighting

This year, the seminar will be presented in various locations on the following dates:

• June 5, Warren Township Government Center
• July 18, Pike Township Trustee’s Office
• September 18, American Legion Post 3
• October 25, Julia Carson Government Center
