JD Thomas  hails from the great state of Indiana and grew up in one of the hottest neighborhoods in Indianapolis, Fountain Square, way back when it was the hottest neighborhood but not for the reasons investors like. Upon graduating high school, he joined the Army and began a career that took him from the great state of Indiana to Iraq, DC, Arizona, Kuwait and points in between. After nearly 12 years on Active Duty, JD was awarded his Mortgage Loan Originators license and began work in the traditional mortgage space.  He has since expanded his skillset to offer non-traditional lending options for seasoned and new investor alike.  He currently works for a boutique mortgage broker, Mamba Mortgage. Whether you are interested in a Convention, VA, FHA, USDA, or a non-traditional mortgage he is here to help ensure you have the knowledge needed to get the deal closed and get keys in hand to your newest property. 

Jessica Carter,  Realtor at Highgarden Real Estate, is a real estate investor specializing in buy-and-hold rentals using the BRRRR strategy. Since 2018, she's successfully acquired properties in multiple states. Married to an active-duty U.S. Army officer, Jessica focuses on helping military families, first-time homebuyers, and investors. Using their VA Loan benefit, Jessica and her husband strategically purchased their home with plans to rent it when duty calls for a move. With a unique understanding of military life, Jessica offers expertise and personalized guidance in every real estate transaction. 

Major Cory Carter, a dedicated U.S. Army officer, seamlessly transitions his commitment to service into the realm of real estate investing. Cory has served 16 years in the Army and been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, Cory's passion for securing his family's future led him to venture into real estate in 2018. Since then, he's successfully acquired properties in multiple states. Recently stationed in Indiana, Cory recognized the importance of networking and joined the Central Indiana Real Estate Investors Association (CIREIA) Club to connect with like-minded investors. Married with two young daughters, his real estate goals are centered on building a legacy for retirement and passing down financial security to the next generation. Cory epitomizes the blend of military discipline and entrepreneurial spirit, leaving a lasting impact in both the Army and the world of real estate investing.
